Scholarships at Western Michigan University

Many scholarships are available yearly through Western Michigan University and the Haworth College of Business to all business students for finance and commercial law majors and minors and also for finance and personal financial planning majors

To apply to one of these scholarships you should apply this application.

Some different finance scholarships:

State Farm Scholarship:

• B.B.A. student in the major of finance or personal financial planning.
• Awarded based on professional activities and accomplishments.
• 2.5 GPA out of 4.
• $2,000 each year for two years.

Peter J. Wurzer Scholarship:

• B.B.A. or M.B.A. student in the major of finance.
• 2.5 GPA (B.B.A.); 3.0 (M.B.A.)
• One-time award, $3500.

Sanford Scholarship for Financial Planning:

• B.B.A. student in the major of personal financial planning.
• 3.0 GPA.
• Need based award.
• $1,000 each year for two years.

Jay A. Fishman Scholarship

• B.B.A. student in the major of finance.
• Need based award.
• 3.0 GPA.
• One-time award, $5,000.
