If you are planning to study abroad in America, one of the main requirement from you is to take the TOEFL test to demonstrate English language proficiency. Each college or university demanding and points in order to be registered has its minimum score to achieve and you should get this score or exceed it (Minimum of many colleges is 78 or more).

Speaking - This section will measure your ability to understand written English. And will be included in this section on the official English texts rather than the language of informal talks used in the listening section.
Reading - This section will contain the reading comprehension and vocabulary and will test your ability to understand paragraphs.
Writing - This section will contain a one essay question. And this section will measure your ability to organize and support talk through writing an article.
